A Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Letters (FNAL) and the Nigerian Academy of Education (FNAE), Professor Emenyonu is a specialist in African Literature, he has taught African Literature at various institutions of higher learning in Nigeria and the United States, and has published extensively in the field.
