I've worked in a German, Italian, fast food and steakhouse restaurants. I cooked on Sundays when I was in college. However, when I started working for the school system, I was hooked on teaching kids how to cook. I created and hosted a kid's cooking show at the k-5 school my sons attended. The show lasted for about 9 years. I found that if you make it easy for them to learn how to prepare something they like, they can do it. Nearly all of the recipes in this book need no cooking. However, adult supervision is very important.
