Author served nearly three years in Ordnance with a transportation corp major port headquarters in Europe during WWII. Author graduated from Fenn College with chemical engineering degree in 1951 and spent 35 years with Fortune 500 chemical company. Author married Mary Westerhold in 1947 and their nearly 60 year union was blessed with eleven children. Before Mary died in December of 2006, Ralph and Mary traveled to 49 of the 50 states and several provinces in Canada.
