He is a licensed alcohol and drug counselor; in 2014 he was named Counselor of the Year by the Massachusetts Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (MAADAC). Gary is the author of Positive Path Recovery and Counseling for Medication Assisted Recovery. He has presented at many local and national conferences.
