About the Author
Brodsky, Kathy: - Kathy Brodsky, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, adds depth to children's books with educational, insightful and funny stories. As a result of 40 plus years as a psychotherapist, Kathy knows how to tap into universal human emotions in an innovative way, with stories that center around relatable topics like adjusting to change, facing challenges, and being happy with who you are. One parent said, Kathy Brodsky's books grow with the child. Younger children like the pictures and rhyme and the older ones understand the messages.Bennett, Cameron: -
Cameron first met Kathy Brodsky, of all places, in his Argentine Tango class. While he was showing her steps, she was showing him plans for her first children's book My Bent Tree. Need an illustrator? he asked, and since then, the two have collaborated on eight books. Cameron also paints portraits and murals, holds a MFA from Lesley University, and has taught drawing and painting at the New Hampshire Institute of Art. He no longer teaches Tango; raising a daughter and son is enough of a dance to keep him busy for now.
