She earned her Bachelor's in Sociology from Kean University, before cultivating the idea of writing her memoir. While hard at work pursuing her Associate's degree from Ocean County College, and then later her Bachelor's degree from Kean University; she was encouraged to write her memoir. Christine was hesitant about writing her memoir at first, since it would be about her own life experiences, but the thought never left her. She never did anything about jotting down notes for her memoir, and never had a concrete idea to write her memoir; but the desire to write her memoir was very much there. Despite it only taking just a couple short months to write her memoir, it is filled with a lot of deep emotions, and feelings that Christine never realized that she had buried for a long time.
