D. After some years of research at the Institute of Forest Genetics, Korea, he served for twenty-five years as a professor at the Department of Forest Sciences, Seoul National University. He founded the University Plant Clinic, served as a director for the Clinic, and retired from the university in 2010. He was the President of Korea Forest Society, and a Committee Member of Cultural Heritage in Cultural Heritage Administration. He has written and co-authored several books on forestry and trees, which include \"Tree Physiology\" and \"Maintenance of Landscape Trees\".
