I also claim Phoenix as my hometown. I have three wonderful children Josef 23 Sarah 21 and Eli 19.Josef is a student at UMKC. Sarah is a student at UC Davis. Eli is in the Air Force. I practiced criminal defense and domestic law for 13 years. I currently work as a writer and at The Nelson Adkins Museum of Art. I volunteer at the Johnson County Library I have two books that I have completed I'm working on the third and fourth. I give CLE presentations on ethics for Missouri lawyers. I am a mediator in Missouri. I earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from The University of Missouri- Kansas City, a respiratory therapy diploma from Northwestern Medical School in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from law school with a J.D. from The University of Missouri at Kansas City (UMKC) School of Law. I am currently a LLM student at Thomas Jefferson School of Law in the International Taxation and Business Program. The reason I went to law school was so I could help people that were less fortunate and were unable to speak or stand up for themselves. At that time in my life I was employed as a respiratory therapist at a large medical center. I worked months with patients who literally couldn't speak. We kept them alive and comatose. Believe me, a patient with a tube down his or her throat, doesn't want to be awake or remember this experience. They were on life support systems- ventilators. This was before advanced health directives, also known as living wills and the famous Karen Ann Quinlan right to die case. These documents are instructions given by the patient in advance about the care and treatment they want or don't want. Most deal with end of life decisions. I thought as an attorney I could speak up for my patients. As a respiratory therapist no one would listen to me except for suggestions on ventilator settings. My passion are: my children, reading, cooking, yoga, KU basketball, Eagles football, and KC Royals.

This title is not returnable

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0555/9255/0515/files/img_dbc47d3d-77c4-4150-9043-fd7f72071d0f.jpg?v=1786451678
