About the Author
Robert J. Harrison, MPH, MD, is Chief of the California Department of Public Health, Principal Investigator for Public Health Institute, and Director for programs by the Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention. He lectures at the University of California at Berkeley's School of Public Health and serves on its Environmental, Safety and Health Panel.
Joseph LaDou, MS, MD, is the founding editor of International Journal of Occupational and
Environmental Health. He served as Director of the International Center for OM at the UCSF and Director of Advances in OEM, a CME course that trained thousands of U.S. and international physicians in OM.
