Lisa started her professional career as a special education teacher in Lutheran schools. Over the last few decades she has continued that path as teacher, consultant and college instructor. Lisa has been married to her husband, Stephen, a pastor in Southern Illinois, since not long after she began quilting, so he knew what he was getting into.
