Bhai Sahib's father, Chacha Ji Maharaj, was himself a Sufi saint of great repute. Sri Ravindra Nath was raised in the loving hands of these towering personalities. Like his grandfather and father, he is a music lover and tabla player. Not only is he a talented musician, but in his younger days he was a professional cricketer and chess player. He also obtained a degree in history, and he worked as a senior bank executive until the age of fifty-eight. Thus born into a family of saints, Sri Ravindra was endowed with the attributes of love and non-attachment which he inherited from his father, grandfather and uncle. He received initiation in the path from Mahatma Abdul Ghani Khan of Bhogaon-a Sufi saint of the highest order.
