In 1992 he and his family moved to Croatia, and that same year he came to the United States. In 1993 he enrolled at Stanford University, where he obtained a B.S. in Physics and an M.S. in Applied Physics. He has done his Ph.D. work at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During his years in America Bojan has lived in six different states - Rhode Island, California, Indiana, Illinois, Hawai'i and Tennessee. He currently lives in Greencastle, Indiana.
