About the Author
Moises Pena-Levano, Luis: - Luis Peña-Lévano, Ph.D., is on the faculty of the Food and Resource Economics Department at the University of Florida. He received his M.Sc. in applied economics from the University of Georgia and his Ph.D. is from Purdue University. As a teacher, he has taught microeconomics, international trade and policy, environmental and natural resource economics, finance, contemporary issues in business and mathematics for economics. Peña-Lévano received the EAERE Award for the Best Paper Published in Environmental and Resource Economics During 2019 from the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists. He is a member of the Global Trade Analysis Project and a guest editor for Choices magazine.
Edward T. Dowling, Ph.D., has been a professor of Economics at Fordham University for more than 26 years, and is currently in his second term as chair of the department. He served as dean of Fordham College from 1982 to 1986. Dowling received his Ph.D. from Cornell University. His main areas of professional interest are mathematical economics and economic development. He is the author of Schaum's Outline of Introduction to Mathematical Economics, Second Edition.
