It was also written to provide tools, which an applicant could use, to enhance his or her interviewing capabilities. The information presented may be general knowledge to some. In other instances, this book may present information which is entirely new to you. In either situation, if you are seeking employment then this book was written to add perspective to the actual process of the interview and some of its purposes. "The Job Interview" shares the employer's perspective as it applies to the actual job interview.

Lamont Jackson is a General Manager with over 27 years of human resources and management experience. Lamont facilitates a monthly interviewing workshop and has advised members of the local Employment Security Commission branches on hiring and interviewing related topics. This book was written to complement his workshop. As an entrepreneur, Lamont has managed artist performing in multiple genres including R&B, Christian Rock, Comedy, Gospel and Rap. His clients also included, Actors, Motivational Speakers, Authors as well as Music Producers Independent Record Labels and Production Companies. Lamont is also an Executive Producer for E3 Entertainment and the CEO of Emont Publishing, Inc. and Wavelength Entertainment Group. Lamont has been an independent consultant and web designer for 9 years, as well as a workshop facilitator, an author, comedian and motivational speaker. Lamont is a Gulf War Veteran and has served in the United States Marine Corps and the U.S. Army. Lamont is an alumnus of Saint Augustine's College and holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Organizational Management. He is currently pursuing a MBA with Strayer University.
