Linda Garrett is from the United States, a writer with a background in human rights and foreign policy. She is the author of "Escuadrones de la Muerte en El Salvador" and "El Salvador: Expectations of Change, Challenges of Governance" published by the Center for Democracy in the Americas where she works as a consultant. Sandra Maric is Croatian. She has a Masters Degree in Sociology from the University of Zagreb and is a sociologist and teacher who had the opportunity to work in the first school opened in Vukovar after integration, teaching Sociology, Psychology and Ethics from 1999-2004. The authors interviewed dozens of residents: Serb, Croat and other minorities, young and old, workers and professionals, women and men, former fighters and refugees, and religious and political leaders. Their stories are presented in Vukovar: Both Sides Now in their own words, without judgement. The authors believe that in war everyone - with the exception of the leaders who incite violence and the direct perpetrators of war crimes - is a victim. And everyone has a story to tell.

This title is not returnable

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0555/9255/0515/files/img_183d5b81-f218-4faf-838d-95bf00e8a1a4.jpg?v=1780517512
https://bookstorenmore.com/products/vukovar-both-sides-now-twenty-years-later-war-and-postwar-stories-from-one-balkan-town-9781463554170
