MATHEMATICS

Mathematics is
the science and study of quality, structure, space, and change. Mathematicians seek out patterns, formulate new conjectures, and establish a truth by rigorous deduction from appropriately chosen axioms and definitions. It can also be used in creative fictional work, in which mathematics and mathematicians play essential roles. The form and the medium of the results are not necessary. The genre may include poems, short stories, novels, or plays; comic books; films, videos, or audio.
