About the Author
A Taste of Wintergreen creator Lindy Mechefske is a freelance writer, editor, and photographer; and Associate Editor of the Queen's Alumni Review magazine. Currently making her home in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, she has also lived in England and Australia, and travelled widely throughout the US, Canada, Europe, the South Pacific, and parts of Asia - always fascinated by regional cuisine. Lindy has a lifelong love of cooking and good food, and takes a warm, casual approach in the kitchen creating the "new comfort foods" - dishes that are simple, accessible, healthy, and most of all, tasty.
