Kehli Joyce (KJ) is a driven Los Angeles homicide detective; who was ordered by her hardnosed lieutenant to take leave after her partner was ambushed and murdered. Not wanting to lose her job for disobeying an order or be brought up on charges of insubordination, she reluctantly does what she is told and goes to Las Vegas; for some needed rest and relaxation.
