About the Author
Atkinson, Stacey: - In 2008 Stacey Atkinson worked at a school for young adults with learning difficulties which is where the stigma of wearing hearing aids became apparent to her. This is when the author decided to write a children's book to eliminate the stigma and support hearing-impaired children. In 2015 the author studied audiology and became an audiologist in 2017. The author wanted to write a book that will support individuals with hearing impairment but most importantly, raise awareness and empathy to help eliminate the stigma of hearing aids.
