About the Author
Batt Humphreys is a former network news executive. During 20 years with CBS he managed the coverage events that have shaped our lives over a quarter century including wars, elections, leading the coverage of the morning of 9/11 and occasional stories that warmed the human heart. In 2010 he turned to fiction with the release of his first novel, Dead Weight. Dead Weight was the recipient of the 2010 Palmetto Award, the IPPY Gold Medal award, the Benjamin Franklin award and a finalist for the SIBA fiction award and Book of the Year by Foreword Magazine. Affair & Honor is his second novel.
