About the Author
A native of New Jersey, Linda relocated to Florida in 1990. After living in Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, and St. Augustine, she moved to Vero Beach in 1996. A former member of Romance Writers of America and Sisters in Crime, Linda is a current member of Mystery Writers of America - Florida Chapter. She has co-chaired SleuthFest, MWA-FL Chapter's annual writers conference, from 2009-2012. She is working on a mystery series set in an area suspiciously like Vero Beach. A football widow during her first marriage, she wrote American Football Basics (original title Football Basics) because she thought more women would enjoy football if they understood it. Linda partnered with the Susan G. Komen West Palm Beach affiliate for Football Basics - The Pink Edition (Read for the Cure) for two years, and will continue to donate 5% of net sales to them. Linda cannot remember a time when she didn't read, and while once she would read anything that wasn't nailed down, she has found that learning to write has made her more appreciative of good writing and less tolerant of bad writing.
