For Claire Kelly, her perfect life is a perfect nightmare. She has an upper middle class lifestyle, loving parents, and supportive friends, but she is at war with her body, her mind, and her future. Depression is stealing her dreams. Now, when Claire looks in the mirror, she is terrified of what she sees. She compensates well enough to succeed in college, but her emotions are spiraling out of control, and so too is her weight. Feeling like a failure unworthy of life, she seeks comfort in food.
