About the Author
Robinson, Maisha T.: - Maisha T. Robinson earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Princeton University and her medical degree from Tufts University, Massachusetts. She completed neurology training at Mayo Clinic. Impacted by patients with chronic and terminal neurologic diseases, she pursued a palliative medicine fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering. She was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship in health services and health policy research through the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she earned a master of science in health policy and management. She currently serves as the Medical Director of Palliative Medicine and she leads a Neuropalliative Care Program at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville.
