Butterscotch the dog goes to her friend Wil the bear and tells him that dogs at the park are making fun of her and are being mean to her. She does not know what to do about that. Wil tells her to think of the Tao, which is everywhere and in everything. They decide to walk through the woods together and a little cricket and a caterpillar talk to them and say that it is qualities that you have on the inside that are so much more important than mean dogs. Butterscotch realizes that she can transform her sadness into happiness in the Tao.
