About the Author
Maryland native Kris McCurry is a wife, mother and business owner living just outside of Baltimore. A marketing professional turned author, Kris is a health and fitness fanatic, always seeking new information on staying fit. Circulation Domination was a labor of love for Kris, and she hopes that it is just the first of many helpful books on health and fitness. During the winter of 2009, Kris had a serious case of the "winter blues." Run-down, unmotivated, and feeling sad, she was starting to feel old. After her doctor said that one of the best ways to beat the winter blues was to increase physical activity, she did, and in the process shook the blues, lost weight, and began to feel better than she had in years. Kris's curiosity was piqued. How could increasing physical activity have such a profound effect not only on the body, but also the mind? Kris did some research on her overall improvement, and all signs pointed to circulation. The more research she did, the more she realized how critical circulatory health is, and how many ailments can be alleviated by taking care of it. And so the concept for the book was born.
