In the frozen north lies a kingdom of bear shifters ruled by a wise and gentle queen. Next in line, Prince Siku chafes under his mother's rule while he dreams of the world outside the castle walls. When his mother announces he is to be wed, Siku flees the castle, determined to seek knowledge and new experiences.

Under the guidance of the conman with a heart of gold, Siku experiences the world of the common folk with open eyes. Along the way, Aputi becomes a friend, and lover. While the royal guard search for their missing prince, Siku finds himself falling head over heels for a common alpha.

Together, they will be forced to face the reality of Siku's position as prince. Already promised to another, Siku will have to choose between his fianc , and the man he loves. And if Aputi wants to keep Siku, he will have to risk everything.
