Consciousness is the source of life on earth and yet our understanding of consciousness is inadequate. We know something about the brain and the functioning of mind but we do not understand the nature of awareness and the pure feeling of being alive. This ignorance of consciousness constitutes a self-limitation which creates personal difficulty and conflict in the world. In a direct approach, the author investigates the nature of his own consciousness, and finds that individual, global and universal consciousness are different expressions of a single fundamental reality.
This realisation creates the opening for a wide-ranging self-transformation which transcends personal limitation. It is a dramatic and life changing work.

About the Author
Before creating the Delphi Project, Peter Coen founded the European Business School in the UK and helped create a network of innovative international universities. While working for the United Nations in Rome, he realised the impossibility of transforming global institutions and fulfilling a truly humanitarian vision without a profound change in human nature. So he decided to change. The Delphi Book (2014), Consciousness - a new approach (2017), and A Delphi Diary (due out in 2018) explore the challenges we face. Peregrine (2017), a collection of poetry, captures moments of insight and revelation which illumined his early travels with his family. The work draws inspiration from the landscape of the hills and water meadows of Wiltshire where he now lives.
