About the Author
Richard and Stephanie have been married for nearly 25 years. Their marriage survived a couple's biggest nightmare - infidelity. Richard has walked the path of sexual addiction and back. He has experienced the pain of addictive behavior and nearly lost his marriage, job, church and life. Richard overcame the battle with addiction to sex, online social networking, anger and co-dependency that have made him a symbol of hope to other addicts who suffer with addictive behaviors. He counsels those in need who are feeling the pain of their hurts, hang-ups and habits. He is a messenger to let addicts know that there is another way to live. He is currently completing Graduate School with a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Shortly after graduation, he will transition his career from a college instructor to a Marriage and Family Therapy Counselor. Richard and Stephanie play an active role in the Celebrate Recovery(R) program they participate in locally through Calvary Baptist Church, Beaumont, Texas.. They also lead the Celebrate Recovery(R) program at their home church Westgate Memorial Baptist Church in Beaumont, Texas. Stephanie is a college Biology instructor. In her spare time, she teaches watercolor and digital photography classes and enjoys photographing nature subjects. She authors books, completes paintings & illustrations on commission, participates in art competitions, goes bird watching, enjoys lap swimming, and sings in her church's choir. The couple currently resides in Southeast Texas with their 8-year-old rough coat Jack Russell Terrier, Annie, and their 14 year old Latino Cockatiel, Qi.
