About the Author
J. Elliott Riley is a writer, columnist, and the author/creator of the graphic series LOST STORIES which was nominated for both the Eisner and Russ Manning Awards. He studied Creative Writing, English Literature and Humanities at Drew University and has since written in almost every possible avenue. Whether it be consulting to Fortune 100 companies, developing million dollar business plans, or writing for magazines and comic books, his work has run the gamut of the written word. Despite his professional background, his life has been a series of adventures down the road not taken. He grew up adjacent to a 200 acre Mental Asylum where he explored hundred year old tunnels as a hobby. At one point he had a stint as a grave digger in a federal cemetery. He's trained the Guardian Angels in submission techniques and worked out with actual Ninja Grandmasters. It's a unique background of oddball characters and knowledge that populate his writing with real world details. Over thirty years of martial arts experience in multiple styles also fill his work with realistic action that is far more brutal and believable than what is normally seen in books or film. Currently, he lives on the East Coast with his family, where he writes and engages in acts of reckless serial entrepreneurism. He is an avid cyclist and triathlete and usually in search of the next adventure.
