Dark Night

I will never forget that sound as long as I live. It was a sound you know that you know-something is not right. And indeed something is very wrong: what follows is an encounter with the most infamous serial rapist in the history of New Zealand-neither the first trauma of her life nor the last. Her continuing search for answers to life's questions takes her across divergent occult practices: astrology, psychic phenomena, Eastern religion, the New Age movement, witchcraft and a disappointing relationship with a gifted medium. Then a simple paperback book stirs her spirit and sets her on a new course. Ultimately, she finds her answers in the Lord, learns the power of forgiveness and embraces the strength forged by adversity. Gutsy, moving and achingly honest, this is not fiction; this is testimony and truth-sometimes uncomfortable, sometimes joyful, often wrenching. Such is the nature of truth.
