About the Author
Golay, Mitch: - Mitchell Golay (B. Sc., B.Ed.) is an Environmental Scientist and Agrologist, practising in the environmental subsector within the oil & gas industry of Western Canada. He was inspired to write this book to help explain to his two boys, Logan & Hudson, where he goes and what he does for work, away from home days on end. He also feels his duty as an educator to foster interest and knowledge of a very important industry that often becomes an easy target. He hopes one day children will be driving by an oil & gas site and say, "Dad! There's Derrick!" like his children did with trains and cranes. And yes, as a fully authorized dad-joke creator, the pun is fully intended.
