Schmidt, Louis A.: - Louis A. Schmidt is an associate professor and associate chair in the Department of Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behavior at McMaster University in Ontario, Canada. He is a Core Member of the Offord Centre for Child Studies, Division of Child Psychiatry at McMaster Children's Hospital. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, College Park. His research interests are developmental psychophysiology, human social and affective neuroscience, and the use of EEG/ERP to understand individual differences in temperament and affective responses to normal and special populations.Segalowitz, Sidney J.: - Sidney J. Segalowitz is a professor of psychology at Brock University, editor of Brain and Cognition, and Director of the Brock Institute for Electrophysiological Research. He received his Ph.D. from Cornell University, and currently his research interests include developmental electrophysiology and psychophysiology as they inform us about changes in cognitive and affective processing across the lifespan, and the uses of electrophysiology to further our understanding of information processing in the brain.
