Disorders of the Nervous System: Pathogenesis and Clinical Management

The nervous system refers to a sophisticated and complicated system, which controls and coordinates physiological functions. It is divided into two major parts, namely, the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system. Central nervous system consists of the spinal cord and brain. Peripheral nervous system majorly consists of all other neural elements such as autonomic nerves and peripheral nerves.
