About the Author
The authors are mother and son. Marsha Grant-Ford, ATC, PhD, has been certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Association for 40 years. She is a practicing clinician in a variety of practice setting and is a college professor in an accredited athletic training education program. Jonathan Ford brings a unique perspective having been raised by two athletic trainer parents. He is now a senior in high school and has been comfortable in a variety of practice setting throughout his life. He is ecstatic to contribute to a body of work that definitively explains what his parents do.
