About the Author
Dr. David Dorries is committed to theological education in the 21st century. Holding a Ph.D. in Church History from the University of Aberdeen, Dorries taught for 22 years on the graduate faculty of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After living in Norway for three years, Dorries is now back in Oklahoma, although he continues to serve on the staff of Oslo International Bible College part-time as Professor of Historical and Theological Studies. Dorries also directs Kairos Ministries International, and hosts the website, www.edwardirving.com.He has authored numerous articles and two books; Edward Irving's Incarnational Christology (Xulon Press, 2002) and Spirit-filled Christology: Merging Theology and Power (Aventine Press, 2006). Spirit-filled Christology also appears in Spanish (Cristologia Llena del Espiritu: Fusionando Teologia y Poder, Word and Spirit Press, 2007). He is married to Mariela, and is the father of Paul, Davis and John.
