About the Author
Dr. Gould is Dean Emeritus, School of Business Administration, University of Dayton and a retired professor of management. He has also served in management positions in corporate America and as a junior officer in the United States Air Force. He has consulted with for-profit and not-for-profit organizations in North America and Western Europe. Dr. Gould has published numerous conference proceedings and articles in leading academic journals. His interest in theology began over thirty years ago and he has kept an avid interest in it ever since. During his faith journey, he has been engaged in both evangelical and orthodox Christian churches. Finding them less than fully satisfying and drawing upon his academic background, Dr. Gould has struck out to integrate his theological grounding with his training in the behavioral sciences and personal experience. The result is Faith Beyond Mere Belief, his first book in theology. In retirement, Dr. Gould remains active serving on community boards and with writing. He lives in the mountains of Colorado with Elaine, his wife of 49 years. Together they raised three sons, and now enjoy witnessing life unfolding for their eight grandchildren.
