George, Candy, and the Raccoon

Two important lessons were taught that hot summer afternoon, when Candy came to George's rescue. George learned that parents usually make decisions for their children for their benefit or protection. The second important lesson George learned was the power of friendship and the bond that people develop with their pets. About the Author
George is all grown up now, and he has a daughter attending the very same school that he attended at her age. He remembers that TV show of his youth that always tried to teach a moral or a lesson.

After a time of mourning the loss of Candy, George's father brought home a little black puppy with a small patch of white on her chin and a larger patch of white on her chest.
