About the Author
Pugmire, Roy Lynn: -

Roy Lynn Pugmire, born in 1942 in Idaho, grew up on a cattle ranch nestled in Bear Lake Valley. After completing a BA and an MA in English, he taught at the University of Idaho for three years before resettling to Germany in 1972. In the city of Bremen he immersed himself in teaching English as a second language until his retirement in 2005. Intrigued by the captivating life story of Gesche Gottfried, Bremen's most enigmatic figure, he meticulously crafted a biographical/historical novel that unravels the course of her nefarious existence. Still residing in Bremen, Roy continues to sing in an a cappella quartet after more than 30 years and stays active with invigorating walks and hikes. Married for 56 years, he has five children and seven grandchildren.
