Writer Marty Mokler Banks likes to skip rocks in a lake but she's only done a little rock climbing. She is the author of the popular chapter books G.G. SNOWBOARDS (The G.G Series, Book #1) and THE ADVENTURES OF TEMPEST & SERENA. Photographer Alisa Mokler Harper climbs over the piles of laundry in her house but leaves the rock climbing to her own young G.G.s, Sage and Stella. Harper shows her photographs in galleries, online and in sports publications. She works in television production for ESPN and is a former member of the U.S. Snowboard Team as well as a two-time competitor at ESPN's X Games. She lives in the Sierra Nevadas with her family of humans, cats and dogs.
