About the Author

Marcia Sheriff grew up in Des Moines, Iowa, where she still lives with her husband and three daughters. She graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in early childhood education and a K-8 endorsement in reading. She taught first grade and then became a stay-at-home mom after having her first daughter. Marcia loves to share the joy of reading with children. She often uses books to teach important concepts at home, school, and at her church, where she currently serves as a Childcare Coordinator.
