Moghul, Alan: - Alan Moghul, Ph.D., M.S. Ed., grew up around cats, dogs, and horses, and has an unwavering love and respect for animals. He has a doctorate in pathology and has worked in both the cancer research and public health fields. From 2017-2021, he ran a pet-sitting business, Al's Animals, LLC, which served Kent County, Maryland. While running the business, he was certified in professional pet sitting and pet first aid.Saumell, Marina: - Marina Saumell graduated with a degree in architecture in 2003 and embarked on a career in commercial architecture. The birth of her child and growing love of children's books inspired her to venture into book illustration. Since 2006, Marina has joyously followed her passion for drawing and illustration.
