In Cabazon is a gothic pastoral spun out of a setting that by any exercise of rationale should be fictional. Cabazon, a dusty hamlet in California, is home to the world's only creationist museum to be housed inside the bowels of a dinosaur. A fusion of verse, prose, and collaged images of Californian landscapes and desiccation, the narrative roves through the suburban sprawl of Southern California and into the heart of Western wastelands. In Cabazon is of and for Californian deserts.

About the Author
Trevor Losh-Johnson lives in a small college town in Southern California, beneath the hills that border the San Gabriel Mountain Range. This region of America is susceptible to earthquakes and fires. In Cabazon is his first book. Ken Johnson lives in that same Californian college town, painting, photographing, teaching, and generally trying to make sense of things. In addition to exhibiting work throughout his native United States, he has been exhibited internationally in Australia and Canada, and is a member of the Society of Layerists in Multimedia.
