There are 31 chapters in each of the monthly Bible studies that are from the heart of Ralph as he studies the Word of God to find a message to give to the men in the jails and prisons. About the Author
Ralph Andrew Nichols grew up in Tennessee between Nashville and Memphis. He was born on March 7, 1949 and was the youngest of five brothers and one sister. His mom went to church regularly and prayed for the entire family which caused all her children and husband to come to know Jesus at some point in time. With Ralph, it was in his adult years after he met his wife, Theresa, who wouldn't stop hounding him to go to church until he finally gave in and he is so glad and thankful that he did. Ralph has a desire to help all those who are struggling with the things in life that have stolen the joy and peace from their lives. He, too, was in that place and now spends his time telling the ones in jails and prisons, "If God could save me, He can save you." In his past, he lived a life fully for the devil, and didn't even realize it. Now He lives his life fully for God and walks in peace, joy and compassion for those who aren't there yet. Ralph is retired from TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) and enjoys a quiet life on his farm with Theresa. Ralph has two sons and two daughters. In addition to Theresa's daughter, together they have been blessed with 19 grandchildren...and growing. Life for Ralph is full of ministry as he is an elder in his local church, a weekly minister in the local jail, and now these monthly Bible studies to help those in the jails and prisons to come to know Jesus, His closest friend, who sticks closer than a brother.
