Allison Gartside was born and raised around Vancouver BC to a creative family. Her brother Rod is a wood carver, and her sister Colleen is an artist of many talents (she was the creator of Fergus, Spinner, Boomer and Hypo) Allison attends Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in New Westminster, BC It was there when Allison was listening to her Pastor's wife, Sis Beth Reynolds preaching about how God keeps our tears in a bottle, that Keeper of the Tears was born.
