About the Author
Dr. John Rutledge is Chairman of Rutledge Capital, a visiting professor at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chief Adviser for Finance and Investment to the Governor of the Haidian District in Beijing. He is on the Board of PCG Asset Management and the Advisory Board of First Q Capital. Dr. Rutledge first introduced his Asset Market Shift framework for analyzing capital markets in the Wall Street Journal in the 1980s. Dr. Rutledge uses the framework to advise governments, institutional and individual investors. He was one of the principal architects of the Reagan economic plan in 1980-81 and has advised government officials in the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, China and Kuwait. When not traveling the globe, Dr. Rutledge appears weekly on Fox News' Forbes on Fox and has been a frequent guest on CNBC, CNN and PBS. Dr. Rutledge is the co-author of two books and has published hundreds of articles. He divides his time between Las Vegas, Boston, Newport Beach, Maui and Beijing.
