About the Author
Author, Cora D. Ford was born to a common laborer and housewife on the dusty West Texas Plains. Through a series of unfortunate circumstances, Cora was left to be raised by her grandparents, George and Fannie Jefferson. Cora is an avid reader, a pet lover, and is retired from the Dallas Independent School District. She has two children, both of whom are educators and three grandchildren who love books.
