About the Author
R.W. Klarin worked as teacher, dean of discipline, assistant principal, principal, and headquarters administrator in a nearly thirty year career in education. Concurrent with his career with the Los Angeles Unified School District, he pursued spiritual/personal growth paths from Advaita to Zen for almost 33 years from. Born in Los Angeles and raised in the San Fernando Valley, he has been a resident of the Ocean Park district of Santa Monica since 1974. Even though he advocates life and creative expression as the greatest teachers, he has acquired two graduate degrees and a BA with a total of 10 years of seat time in higher education (UC Berkeley, Cal State Northridge, National University, LMU, and Southwestern Law School. Klarin has traveled to over 50 countries and over 100 hot springs, produced a solo art show, published a book of poetry and a book of essays, and dabbled in numerous creative expressions.
