About the Author
Laura Hoffman, B.S., is a guided imagery expert and mind/body medicine skills specialist with over 36 years of experience training and counseling children and adults. She has advanced course training from the Mind/Body Medical Institute of Harvard Medical School and a massage therapy degree. A pioneer in the use of guided imagery and meditation with children, Laura began teaching courses in high schools and preschools in 1975. She continues to bring this practice and its associated healing benefits into her whole life, witnessing remarkable results as she shares expertise with her own children and clients. Throughout her career, Laura has created hundreds of guided imagery scripts and recordings. Further, she has designed guided imagery CD/script training programs for medical centers. Her work is enthusiastically received around the world.
