Nahum Stutchkoff's program "Mame-loshn" aired Sunday afternoons on the "Forverts" radio station WEVD in New York in the late 1940s and early 1950s. In "Mame-loshn" he made accessible to the broad public the great riches of Yiddish phraseology included in his Thesaurus of the Yiddish Language. Stutchkoff is ever entertaining and informative, a wonderful resource for advanced students and all those who wish to deepen their knowledge of the language.
