Skeptical about the weirdness of the word 'meditation'? I show you several of the studies done on sitting meditation and mindfulness. You will not have to purchase a $300 meditation pillow that is imported from the Himalayas or burn incense and sit cross-legged for hours. You can meditate at your office, on a park bench, or at the gym. Tried sitting meditation? Can't stop your mind? This was a problem with sitting meditation over 2,500 years ago-moving meditation was invented. Have you been doing meditation for decades and are stuck in rut? Looking for some more advanced meditation techniques? When you go to the gym do you just work out one muscle? In this book I show you multiple ways to work out your mind and body with Pure Yi moving meditation. Some of the most successful business personalities and celebrities in America have adopted a regular meditation practice. Top athletes in America are using meditation practices to get their minds in peak condition. Meditation is being used in our educational systems, from elementary school to the university level, to reduce stress and increase academic performance. It's a practice that is becoming for the mind what regular workouts are for the body-a sure-fire path to strength and resilience. Meditation is a powerful workout for the mind, similar to doing push-ups for strengthening the body, or going for a jog to get your daily cardio.
